About Me....

I'm Kirsty and I'm a late 20s (heading quickly towards 30) sewer from Northamptonshire....well I'm not really a sewer yet! 

I stumbled upon some sewing blogs in the summer of 2014 and this really inspired me to try it out for myself. Although I've sewn before at school I've not made anything for a long time and thought it was time this changed. Thanks to Mum's trusty old sewing machine (maker of many fancy dress outfits from when I was a child!) and a bit of inspiration I'm launching myself into the sewing community and thought I would share my tales of wonder and woe along the way.

I'm also planning a wedding to my lovely fiancé Chris for November 2014 so this may stray into the realms of wedding ideas/wedding therapy! Here we are at our engagement photo shoot! Don't we look lovely!
